Our City. Our Homes. Real Progress.

Vote “Yes” on Nov. 5th!

Not a new Tax.

No New Taxes. Just Smarter Spending:

Let’s be clear—this is not a new tax. Voting “Yes” simply redirects 2% of the City’s General Fund—money we’re already paying—to the Housing Trust Fund. This is a no-brainer! We’re ensuring our dollars work for us in the ways we need them most.

How Does This Help Our Community?

The New Orleans Housing Trust Fund will allow us to put our money to work where we need it most—in our communities, for our people. This is about us, about ensuring our hard-earned dollars serve all of New Orleans, from Uptown to Downtown to New Orleans East.

Affordable Housing:

The creation of affordable rental housing

Housing Preservation:

Lower Housing Costs:

More money in your pocket, less stress about rent or mortgage payments.

Strong Neighborhoods:

Homeowners can keep their properties and keep neighborhoods strong and vibrant.

Good Jobs and Growth:

More jobs, lower construction costs, and a growing population that brings in more tax revenue to improve our city services.

Homeownership Opportunities:

Creation and preservation of affordable homeownership opportunities

A “Yes” Ensures Real Progress For All

Life in New Orleans is unique—it’s vibrant, it’s rich in culture, and it’s home to the heartbeats of our city. Our culture bearers, service workers, and hardworking homeowners are the lifeblood of New Orleans. But right now, the rising costs of living, skyrocketing home prices, and increasing rent are putting pressure on the people who make this city what it is.

With this measure, we’re saying “yes” to keeping our people where they belong and to affordable housing that makes sense for our families, our neighborhoods, and our future.

A "Yes" Vote is a Vote for All of Us

It's for All for Us

Whether you’re a service worker in the French Quarter, a culture bearer in Treme, or a hardworking homeowner in New Orleans East, this measure is for you. It’s for all of us who love this city and want to see it thrive. Voting “Yes” means taking a stand for affordable housing, for keeping our families together, and for preserving the New Orleans we know and love.

No Extra Cost, Just a Better Future

Absolutely nothing extra! By voting “Yes,” you’re simply allowing 2% of the current City General Fund to be redirected to the Housing Trust Fund. This generates $15 to $20 million for affordable housing—no new taxes, just a smarter, more community-focused investment.

Make Your Voice Heard

On Election Day, let’s stand together and vote “Yes” for the New Orleans Housing Trust Fund Dedication. Let’s make sure our money is working for us and for the future of our city. This is our chance to protect what makes New Orleans special—its people.
